Habersham County's Feed a Friend will be delivering lunches to four sites in the south end of the county all summer except for the week of July 4th.  Please look under "Latest News" for the "Free Summer Lunch Program" for more details.  In addiition to this service, please see the information below from the Georgia Department of Education.

You may remember learning about FoodFinder, a free smartphone app and website developed by a Georgia Public Schools graduate. FoodFinder helps hungry kids & families find their closest free food 100% privately, and based only on their current location.

There are 3 important updates that can help your students over the summer break, when they’re away from free & reduced lunch:

1. The FoodFinder website is now easier to find - it’s atwww.FoodFinder.US. It sill shows all full-time locations so students can find their closest free food.
2. The free app is available on both app stores - search ‘FoodFinder - fighting hunger'
3. ALL of the (nearly 1,000) USDA summer feeding sites in Georgia will be on both the app and the website as of next week - and available until school returns in August - this is the single best resource for hungry students and their families to find their closest free food, quickly and privately.
